Release Radio Underground Dance Music From The UK
Slims love of music started back in the late 80s early 90s when he was dubbing tapes of tracks that he had recorded from the top 40 and other sources, it was at this stage Slim realised he was falling in love with all kinds of music and asked his parents if he could have a set of turn tables and was told ‘NO’ as you needed to work for a living rather than DJing, so brushed himself down and then purchased a set of turn tables in 1998 from a family friend. Then, started mixing tracks and also started DJing at a local pub playing commercial records simply to get himself out there.
It was not until 2000 when Slim understood his route of music was to be underground house and with this managed to get noticed whilst playing the music he loved. As the years have passed Slim has also moved into the rare groove, soul and funk – forming the Sunday Morning Jukebox along with continuing the love for Deep Tech House here on Release.
