Born into a musical family Katie developed a passion for dance music from an early age during the 90s when she was growing up, UK garage was big on the scene and she started listening to underground pirate radio shows that would play this genre. From this she developed her taste for other sub genres of underground dance music including deep house, acid house, and tech- ultimately falling in love with house music.

After a trip to Ibiza in 2012 and watching some of the worlds best DJs play at café mambo  she decided to make her dream of becoming a DJ a reality and enrolled at the London Sound Academy, after having a few lessons she bought herself some decks and took the plunge to move to Ibiza in 2019 where she secured a residency and played at numerous venues including Ibiza Rocks Café, Enigma beach club and Kilties Pub San Antonio. You can catch Katie on Release radio on Saturdays spinning her upbeat blend of Balearic beats, tech house and disco cuts.
