It all began back in 1995, when JD Sparxx began mixing with 2 CD players with no pitch control and a bog standard mixer doing house parties for school mates, where he slowly progressed with building up equipment that gave him the experience he needed to get gigs in the local pubs and clubs.

JD went through the turntables era, then into CDJ’s, and now Digital, but he’ll certainly never forget the love of a good piece of Vinyl.

It was in 1999 that JD went to his first dance music festival, it was then that he found a love for Trance & Progressive music.

Skip forward 20+ years, JD has graced some of the biggest clubs in Europe and the UK, playing various clubs in Ibiza, including Eden and more closer to home, Heaven & Ministry Of Sound in London to name but a few, also playing alongside some of the biggest names in the business, with the likes of Simon Patterson, Matt Hardwick, Fred Baker, Greg Downey, Nicholson & John Askew
In 2001, JD diverted into radio, presenting weekly shows on various pirate radio stations across the south of England, but it was in 2010 when he joined Release FM and cemented his Friday night slot with a Trance & Progressive show called “The Digital Central Show”, a long running radio show dedicated to showcasing newly released tracks, with some classics from the last 25 years thrown in for good measure.

Continuing his long running Friday night reign, JD stepped it up to the next level & now plays on Release Radio, broadcasting across the DAB network in the UK.

With heavy basslines, big euphoric riffs and drops to give you goose bumps, its a show not to be missed.
